Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, developing individualized plans of care to address these needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests and trauma cases, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and test results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines, protocols, and procedures, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with the Maryland Board of Nursing or a Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in other acute care settings.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications within 6-12 months of hire.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
