Salary: $20 - $24 per hour

Job Description:
In this role, you will assist healthcare providers with documentation and administrative tasks during patient encounters. You will accurately and efficiently document patient medical histories, symptoms, and treatments in electronic health records (EHR). Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will ensure that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. You will also transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions, as well as coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with documentation and administrative tasks
  • Audit and correct electronic health records for accuracy
  • Transcribe physician orders, prescriptions, and other medical instructions

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience as a Medical Scribe or similar role. You must have knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems is also required. Additionally, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.You will also need to be flexible to adapt to changing priorities and patient needs, and have a strong understanding of coding and billing processes to ensure accurate reimbursement.
