About the Opportunity:

Seattle Children's is seeking a skilled Pediatric Critical Care Specialist to join our team in Seattle, Washington.

Job Summary:

The Pediatric Critical Care Specialist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our ECMO ICU department. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a collaborative manner with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, family-centered patient care
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff as needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Prior experience in a pediatric-related healthcare setting or specific area of nursing
  • A current Washington State RN license or equivalent
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications:

We also welcome applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and pediatric healthcare nursing experience.
