The estimated hourly salary for this role is between $29.00 to $39.00 per hour.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator II to provide Tier 3 desktop engineering support, package and deploy Windows software, and work with various teams to manage workstation security.

  • Tier 3 Desktop Engineering Support: Provide expert-level technical support for complex issues related to Windows 10 workstations and software.
  • Software Deployment: Package and deploy Windows workstation software in a hardened environment, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Workstation Security: Implement and manage workstation security strategy in collaboration with various teams, including Active Directory, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, and other tools.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities to work with diverse customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience (2+ years with a Master's/MIS degree).
  • Experience providing Tier II, III & IV support in a Windows-based environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Active Directory Group policy for workstations.
  • Experience with PIV and CAC authentication.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
