Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and experienced Quality Control Manager to become part of our dynamic team. This role is crucial in maintaining the highest quality standards across all our construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in the construction sector, particularly in quality control, and will have a thorough understanding of federal government and healthcare construction requirements. This is a full-time role requiring a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and oversee the company's quality control program.
2. Inspect and supervise all construction projects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3. Collaborate with project managers and construction personnel to ensure effective implementation of quality control procedures.
4. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
5. Conduct regular audits on materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure adherence to project specifications.
6. Ensure all projects comply with federal government and healthcare construction standards.
7. Train and mentor staff on quality control practices and procedures.
8. Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and develop corrective action plans.
9. Stay informed on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to quality control.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, including EM-385.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. CQMC Certification is required.
3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.
4. Proven experience in federal government and healthcare construction.
5. In-depth knowledge of EM-385 and other safety regulations.
6. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
9. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
10. Proficiency in quality control software and relevant computer applications.
