We are seeking a dependable and professional parts wholesale counterperson to manage the procurement, sales, storage, and distribution of parts within our bustling dealership environment. While proficiency in ordering parts and maintaining inventory is essential, exceptional interpersonal skills are equally important for effective interactions with customers and internal teams. The ideal candidate can anticipate competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive dealership family atmosphere.

Spanish/Bilingual proficiency is advantageous

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess requirements and accurately identify parts accordingly
  • Generate and adjust purchase orders
  • Submit purchase orders to the designated vendor for parts procurement
  • Document warranty parts returns
  • Input special ordered parts into the dealership's computer system and inform the appropriate personnel upon arrival
  • Monitor tracking of special order parts
  • Process and finalize outstanding invoices
  • Verify the quality and quantity of received merchandise by comparing invoices against requisitions
  • Maintain records of external purchases and parts received and distributed
  • Conduct ongoing wholesale parts inventory
  • Participate in weekly departmental meetings
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Several years of experience in dealership wholesale operations and/or training
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered
