Job Summary

Bunge North America is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their Instrument, Controls and Electrical (ICE) team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading and collaborating on projects, providing technical support to sites, and driving business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and collaborate on projects to deliver objectives on-time and complete, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and municipal requirements.
  • Provide technical support to sites, including creating safe work plans, responding to ICE-related safety requests, and assisting with project design and feasibility studies.
  • Work with user communities to identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities that bring measurable benefits to Bunge.
  • Improve reporting and tracking of ICE-related downtime, and work with sites and BNA Reliability Team to improve visibility of TOP10 troublesome ICE assets across sites.
  • Develop and manage an aggressive 3-year strategy to implement Bunge4.0 technologies and install Continuous Monitoring projects that protect critical path assets at priority sites.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, Instrumentation, or related Engineering Technology fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Instrumentation fields.
  • Excellent technical skills in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or Instrumentation, with multi-discipline depth preferred.
  • Proven project management skills with ability to control Scope, Cost, and Schedule.
  • Experience working with remote teams, procurement processes, and risk management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 70B, and dust and hazardous gas environment codes.
  • Experience with Intelligent MCCs, VFDs, and soft starts, medium voltage equipment, and low voltage equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Safety Critical instrumentation, Safety Instrument Functions, Safety Instrumented Systems, and similar.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell hardware/software, PLC and/or DCS systems, SCADA systems, and industrial network design and installation experience.
  • Experience with server virtualization, RDS, managed switches, and firewalls.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing business priorities.
Working Conditions
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, and stooping.
  • Working outdoors in a broad range of climate conditions.
  • Walking on catwalks at various heights, climbing stairs and ladders.
  • Working at heights of up to 200 ft. with appropriate safety equipment.
