**Mission Critical: Collecting Clothing and Shoes for the Homeless**

As the weather starts to get colder, HandsOn San Diego is partnering with PATH San Diego to collect an assortment of clothing items and shoes to help keep all of their clients warm this winter.

The clothing items most needed are:

  • Sweatshirts
  • Jackets
  • Long sleeved shirts
  • Pants
  • Sweatpants
  • Jeans
  • Shoes
  • Hats

Men's items especially are in high need. Gently used clothing is okay; although PATH is unable to accept anything with holes or stains. All used clothing donations must be washed, dried, and placed into plastic bags before dropping off to protect the health and safety of their clients.

**Key Responsibilities & Important Notes**

  • Coordinate with PATH San Diego to ensure a successful clothing and shoe drive.
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to assist with clothing and shoe collection.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase clothing and shoe donations.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and community groups to promote the clothing and shoe drive.

PATH is a leading organization in ending homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. They build affordable housing and provide supportive services throughout California.
