Overview of Responsibilities:
The Research and Development Quality Assurance Intern will assist the research and development team in day-to-day activities. As an intern, you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight into the workings of a food manufacturing environment. At the conclusion of the internship, you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) and present your findings to members of the corporate management team.
Internship Outcomes/Expectations:
- Gain real-world understanding of food product safety.
- Develop cost improvement skills.
Qualifications:
- Ability to consume and ingest protein products created and reviewed.
- Applicants pursuing a BS in Food Science are preferred.
- No allergies.
- Ability to stand at the bench for an extended period and lift and carry ingredients without issues.
