Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita Inc. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our dialysis team. This is an exciting opportunity to jumpstart your career in the healthcare industry and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Perform technician duties, such as measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
