Role Overview

As a Mental Health Technician at United Health Services, you will play a crucial role in delivering direct patient support within a Behavioral Health environment. Your primary focus will be on biopsychosocial rehabilitation, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients while promoting therapeutic interactions and facilitating group activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support patients in a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Engage in effective communication to foster a supportive atmosphere.
  • Assist in organizing and leading group activities aimed at rehabilitation.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science in Human Services or equivalent experience in a Mental Health setting, with completion of Abnormal Psychology within two years of employment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field.
