This role encompasses the coordination and advancement of the HVDC engineering team, spearheading HVDC planning and feasibility assessments, and fostering collaboration with various departments within Arcadis. The successful candidate will possess a robust foundation in power systems analysis along with significant expertise in HVDC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients by executing engineering design tasks and conducting system evaluations
  • Oversee the enhancement of HVDC system planning methodologies
  • Offer direction to project teams and participate in thought leadership initiatives
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers in the field of HVDC technology

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 8 years of experience in HVDC systems. Proficiency in electromagnetic transient analysis software and advanced grid technologies is essential. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous.
