Job Overview

Position Summary: As a Production Extruder Specialist at Modern Mill Inc, you will play a vital role in supporting the extrusion team, including operators, shift leads, and supervisors. Your main objective will be to guarantee that all products exiting the extrusion line meet the specified dimensions, are appropriately stacked on the correct pallets, and are free from any manufacturing defects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all hazards are addressed promptly.
  • Accurately track the production of boards in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Ensure that all orders are fulfilled correctly, maintaining an up-to-date board count and pallet status.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 5 hours at a time.
  • Proficient in reading a measuring tape and using a square.
  • Experience with a skill saw is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Capability to lift, push, pull, and stand for long durations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong comprehension of written and oral instructions.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Consistent attendance and adherence to instructions are essential.
