Managed Cloud Infrastructure (MCI) Industry Advisor Consultant Overview:

The Managed Cloud Infrastructure (MCI) Consultant role offers a distinctive opportunity to engage with our vibrant practice. As our organization expands, we seek individuals eager to explore various dimensions of technology, business, and consulting within the financial services sector.

In your capacity as an MCI Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our highly skilled consultants and gain access to a diverse range of client environments that will advance your career at RSM.

Key responsibilities associated with the MCI Consultant role include:

  • Enhancing the value of RSM services through industry-specific advisory
  • Leading strategic technology advisory discussions within financial institutions
  • Formulating and evolving strategic technology roadmaps
  • Presenting technology strategies to executive leadership and boards
  • Driving MCI and industry expansion by developing existing client relationships
  • Supporting IT regulatory examinations and audit responses
  • Delivering CIO services within financial institutions
  • Engaging in industry assessments that propel MCI follow-up initiatives
  • Elevating client experiences and relationships with current RSM clients
  • Assisting the Client Technology Advisor (CTA) with industry-relevant topics
  • Advancing and refining RSM products and services
  • As a Managed IT Services Consultant, you will receive guidance from our seasoned team and have access to a variety of technology and training resources. You will be exposed to several facets of our Technology Consulting Practices, including:

· Consulting methodologies, tools, and processes

· Best practices in architecture design

· Client engagement and development of IT initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree or Certification in an IT-related discipline
  • 10 years of experience overseeing IT and/or operations in a financial institution
  • Familiarity with standard IT practices and policies
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes (helpdesk, ticketing, etc.)
  • A proactive attitude towards contributions.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong judgment, issue management, and problem analysis capabilities
  • Proficient presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated capacity to balance competing priorities.

RSM does not intend to hire entry-level candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future. However, recent U.S. college/university graduates with 1-2 years of relevant work experience may be eligible for hire as experienced associates.

Compensation Range: $97,700 - $196,400. Selected individuals will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
