Role Overview: Managed Cloud Infrastructure (MCI) Consultant

As an MCI Consultant, you will collaborate closely with our highly skilled consultants and gain access to a diverse range of client environments that will enhance your career at RSM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing the value of RSM services through industry-specific advisory.
  • Facilitating strategic technology advisory sessions within financial institutions.
  • Developing and refining strategic technology initiatives.
  • Presenting technology strategies to executive leadership and boards.
  • Driving growth in MCI and industry sectors by nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Assisting with IT regulatory examinations and audit preparations.
  • Providing Chief Information Officer (CIO) services to financial institutions.
  • Engaging in industry assessments that lead to follow-up work in MCI.
  • Enhancing client experiences and relationships for current RSM clients.
  • Supporting the Client Technology Advisor (CTA) with industry-specific matters.
  • Contributing to the enhancement and evolution of RSM's products and services.

As a Managed IT Services Consultant, you will receive mentorship from our seasoned team and have access to a variety of technological resources and training. You will be exposed to several facets of our Technology Consulting Practices, including:

  • Consulting methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Architectural design and best practices.
  • Client engagement and development of IT initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in an IT-related discipline.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience managing IT and/or operations in a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with standard IT practices and policies.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
  • Experience with IT service management tools and processes.
  • A willingness to contribute actively.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% as needed.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong judgment and issues management capabilities.
  • Proficient presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proven capacity to balance multiple priorities effectively.

Compensation Range: $97,700 - $196,400. Selected candidates will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on individual and firm performance.
