About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Claims Representative to join our team at Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, ensuring accurate settlements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations, including interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage, and inspect property and auto damages
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service
Requirements
  • Availability and communicativeness during regular business hours
  • Desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Preparedness to follow-up with others in a timely manner
  • A valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of claims handling experience
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
