Overview:
This role entails the examination, investigation, interpretation, and presentation of intricate financial matters with minimal supervision.
The position is integral to the team, tasked with delivering analytical support for Operating Budgets, Vision ware, Meditech, Financial Statements, Forecasting, Decision Support, and overseeing designated projects.
Moreover, it aids management in operational functions by creating new reports and analyses, enhancing comprehension of existing reports, and incorporating their application into the decision-making framework.
This position encourages and facilitates the understanding of various management systems as suitable and assists in crafting business plans, variance analyses, and ad-hoc reporting.
As a key member of the Finance team, this role is expected to spearhead initiatives aimed at refining financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of reporting, and fostering relationships within the organization to achieve these objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and sustain excellent working relationships across all sectors of CHRISTUS Health system office and with colleagues.
Offer guidance to regional and corporate contacts, along with other team members, acting as a lead contributor to the Decision Support and Finance teams by conducting independent research to ensure the appropriate handling of transactions.
Drive enhancements in departmental processes to boost team efficiency.Establish and nurture relationships that inspire, direct, and support others in achieving the goal of precise and timely reporting.
Share collective responsibility for the integrity of data across various systems (HPM, Vision ware, Meditech, Strata jazz, MORs).
Accountable for reviewing and validating the reasonableness of personal work and that of colleagues.Address data requests from hospital staff by generating ad hoc reports using HPM system/monarch/meditech, and prepare budgets, forecasts, analyses, and proformas.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficient in Costing (HPM), Vision ware, MORs, Budgeting, and Meditech Report Writer.
Collaborate with regional and facility departments to comprehend monthly reports and budgets.
Investigate and address financial and/or accounting challenges in partnership with regional management and CHRISTUS Health system associates to uphold the integrity of financial data.
Execute all responsibilities in a manner that safeguards patient confidentiality and refrains from soliciting or disclosing any confidential information unless essential for the execution of assigned duties.
Coordinate special projects as directed by the Director or Regional CFO.Perform additional duties as required.
