Job Overview:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting repairs, installations, replacements, and testing of electrical circuits, cables, devices, and appliances.
  • Utilizing hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
  • Inspecting and assessing electrical devices, lighting, signaling, communication, and power circuits.
  • Identifying faults in wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical components using both general and specialized testing tools.
  • Replacing defective switches, sockets, and other parts of electrical systems.
  • Dismantling electrical machinery and substituting faulty electrical or mechanical components including gears, brushes, and armatures.
  • Installing motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures in accordance with schematic specifications.
  • Working from technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed in line with established safety protocols.
  • Engaging in special projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is approximately $31.86. However, this is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements, and may fall outside of this range.
