About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Healthcare Partnership Specialist to join our team at the Massachusetts Health Connector. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with health insurance carriers.

Job Description

This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry. As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Nurture relationships with existing carrier partners to ensure mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities to expand our network and improve access to healthcare services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Develop and execute project plans to implement new carrier partnerships and ensure seamless integration of systems, processes, and data sharing.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to health and dental plans, working closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in health or dental insurance, exchange plan management, and/or project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing relationships with vendors, accounts, and/or territories.
  • Knowledge and interest in healthcare, healthcare technology, public sector, and health insurance markets.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and projects, with the ability to learn quickly in a complex technical environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Tableau, and quantitative/qualitative analysis.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex issues for various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing delivery of multiple projects with tight deadlines.
