About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work in a school-based setting in the San Leandro area.

Job Overview

This contract SLP position involves assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services. The successful candidate will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum
  • Conduct screenings and participate in identification and referral processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • CA SLP Licensure
  • Possession of passion for working with children and promoting effective communication skills

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is $90,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes petitive hourly rates, professional development opportunities, CEU reimbursements, health insurance, retirement plan, and a supportive team environment.
