Service Field Specialist

Location: Knoxville, TN

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; rotating on-call weekends (maximum once per month)

Salary:
$20-$30/hr (based on relevant skills/ No prior experience required - Compensation aligned with skill level) + Company Credit Card + Per Diem

Travel Requirements: Typically Monday to Thursday (overnight travel from Monday to Wednesday, returning home on Thursday), approximately 35 weeks annually.

Job Responsibilities:


Conduct calibration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of various industrial environmental air sampling and continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) and their components.

Maintain accurate logs and documentation for audits, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.

Independently manage assignments that are moderately complex, requiring expertise and knowledge to calibrate instruments and resolve issues.

Adhere to quality assurance and quality control protocols for all equipment.

Work primarily at the company’s maintenance facility, with additional responsibilities at various industrial sites across North America.



Candidate Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess strong electrical skills along with mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, complemented by some practical experience.

A readiness to learn in areas such as equipment repair and calibration, laboratory equipment maintenance, medical equipment servicing, or specialized repairs including radios, sonar, and toxic gas detection is essential.

Candidates must hold a valid driver's license and comply with random drug screening protocols. Must be comfortable working at heights.
