Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Media Resources Inc. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch field service and maintenance for our digital LED signs across the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning of new LED signs at on-site locations across the USA
  • Priority break-fix services at on-site locations across the USA, including parts replacement and repair of LED modules, power supplies, and controllers
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction ratings based on established criteria
  • Inputting service call information into our ticketing system to log customer details and actions taken
  • Ensuring all service requests are completed to the customer's satisfaction in a timely manner
  • Following up on service calls and keeping customers updated on ticket status
  • Ensuring all pertinent information is entered into service tickets for performance and product metrics
  • Working collaboratively with other team members and leadership

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college program in electronics or a four-year apprenticeship program in electronic servicing and repair
  • Trade certification for electronics technicians is an asset
  • Working at Heights & Lift Operator Certifications is considered an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in Field Service and Maintenance
  • Experience in working at heights and operating a bucket truck and scissor lifts

Competencies:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Able to access and work on outdoor LED sign structures at heights up to 100 ft. in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work independently to suggest and implement solutions for issues encountered in the field
  • Solid understanding of networking (Hardline, Wireless, and Cellular)
  • Solid understanding of Electrical installation and service
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Work Conditions:

  • Field Service work is performed on site on sign structures or in an office environment
  • Able to access and work on outdoor LED sign structures at heights up to 100 ft. in varying weather conditions
