As a Tax Technical Senior Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in our National Tax team, collaborating with tax leaders and team members to drive technical tax matters and achieve firm tax practice goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain internal and external working relationships to serve as a trusted tax technical resource for the firm.
- Drive resolution of complex tax technical matters with high levels of uncertainty and risk.
- Collaborate with individuals at all levels to identify and develop opportunities for tax technical services.
- Lead technical tax research and communicate findings as appropriate.
- Manage projects and provide coaching and development to support tax practice initiatives.
- Develop internal and external written tax communications related to technical tax matters and tax law developments.
- Evaluate implications of new tax law changes and provide recommendations to tax leadership as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years tax professional experience, preferably in public accounting or law firms.
- CPA or Bar License required.
- Experience coaching and managing a team, including technical development of tax professionals.
- Advanced knowledge of technical taxation and associated structures.
