Retail Sales Associate

As a Retail Sales Associate at Verizon, you will be responsible for generating retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and customer service to expand the Verizon network. You will learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions. You will position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete sales solution. You will close sales by using phenomenal communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions. You will continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in operational functions across merchandising and inventory. You will have the opportunity to grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending text messages to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services. You will engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at off-site Verizon sponsored events.
What We're Looking ForWe are looking for individuals who have a high school diploma or GED, one or more years of work experience, and a willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You should be open to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods. It would be great if you have experience working in a commission-based environment, demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions, and customer service experience.
