Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respite services to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and human rights are maintained.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as food preparation, community integration, and social interaction.
  • Plan and implement games, crafts, and other projects to facilitate meaningful activities.
  • Ensure safe and effective behavior management, responding to atypical/emergent circumstances as needed.
  • Document rendered services and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's license, acceptable driving record, and dependable transportation.
  • Preferred experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Functional knowledge of community resources, crafts, and recreational activities.
