Job Description

Job Title: Full-Time CRNA

Location: University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Anesthesiology Department at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital

Schedule: Flexible 8, 10, 12-hour shifts; on-call expected

Responsibilities:

  • Support the expanding OB Service Line by providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
  • Utilize OB and regional anesthesia skills to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Work in a dynamic environment with 15 OR Suites, 2 Procedure Rooms, and Off-Site locations, handling a wide variety of surgical cases, including Vascular, Breast, Plastic, Robotics, GYN-Oncology, Bariatric, Urology, Orthopedics, and GI.

OB Services:

  • Obstetrical Center of Excellence, a regional referral center for high-risk maternal/fetal care, with 5 OR suites, 26 labor and delivery suites, and a 77-bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
  • Manage high-risk, complex cases, including EXIT procedures and in utero surgery for fetal congenital malformations.

Qualifications:

  • OB and regional skill-set experience preferred, with a strong foundation in anesthesia care and patient safety.
