Job Description

This position involves diagnosing and treating adult patients with nonsurgical diseases and injuries of internal organ systems. You will develop comprehensive plans of care, including medical histories, examinations, diagnoses, treatments, and referrals as needed. Collaboration with consulting physicians, nurses, patients, and their families will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes.

You will also refer cases requiring specialist services while maintaining responsibility for continuity of care. A strong understanding of internal medicine principles and practices is required, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • License to practice medicine in Louisiana
  • Completion of internal medicine residency

The estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000, based on location and industry standards. Individuals residing in Colorado, California, Washington, New York, and Washington D.C. are not eligible for remote work positions.
