A prominent health services organization is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team as a Quality Coordinator. This role is essential in ensuring the enhancement of medical record documentation across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities:
The Quality Coordinator will be tasked with:
1. Promoting the enhancement of medical documentation to meet quality compliance standards by engaging with and educating healthcare providers including Physicians and Nurses.
2. Conducting both concurrent and retrospective data abstraction for essential quality measures.
3. Performing additional duties as required to support the organization’s goals.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Hospital Nursing.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a Master’s Degree in a related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Chart Reviews and Data Analysis, particularly with core measures.
- Familiarity with Joint Commission standards.
- Background in Quality and Process Improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with Data Aggregation tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
