Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse at St. Anthony Community Hospital provides high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health-related topics.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York.
  • BSN degree or higher.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a clinical setting.
  • Certification in a specialty area, such as pediatrics or critical care.
