About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Scrub Tech to join our team at Park City Surgery Center. As a Certified Scrub Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling equipment and instruments with precision.
  • Ensure proper care and maintenance of surgical instrumentation and equipment, adhering to infection control protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures, communicating effectively and responding to emergencies as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques, technologies, and best practices in surgical technology.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or a related field preferred.
  • Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Operating Room Technician (CORT) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical setting, with a strong understanding of sterile processing and infection control protocols.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
