About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Brigham City Community Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in the Operating Room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist staff during operative and invasive procedures, ensuring the operating room is adequately prepared.
  • Work with Housekeeping and Central Processing staff to maintain a clean and organized Operating Room environment.
  • Participate in safety initiatives to ensure correct patient identification and verification of procedures.
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of surgeons, relying on previous experience to provide exceptional care.
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments with the circulating RN, following facility policies and procedures.
  • Follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene and universal precautions.
Requirements
  • BLS or BCLS certification.
  • Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST) or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of surgical technologist course or comparable experience.
  • One year operating room experience preferred.
