Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized recreation programs based on patient needs and interests.

  • Teach and lead recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and socialization.
  • Direct learning experiences to influence behavioral changes and promote patient engagement.
  • Communicate patient observations and progress to the team.
  • Document patient activity therapy progress notes.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Recreation, Physical Education, Dance, Fine Arts, or related field.
  • One year of experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising recreation activities in a hospital or healthcare setting.
