We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE). As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the agency's annual budget, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the agency's annual budget, including forecasting and financial planning
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)
- Assist with budget preparation for various contracts, grants, and special projects
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Work independently with minimal supervision, managing special projects and meeting deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 5 years of financial and/or budget analysis experience, preferably in a non-profit healthcare or human service environment
- Strong organizational, technical accounting, and communication skills
- Experience preparing the New York State Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
This role is performed in-person in a standard office setting. The employee is required to sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods of time, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and operate standard office equipment.
Physical RequirementsThe employee is required to move materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis. FREE will provide reasonable accommodations to allow employees to perform the essential functions of the position, provided such reasonable accommodations do not cause undue hardship on FREE.
CompensationThe pay range for this job is $65,000, based on what FREE reasonably believes it will pay an employee for this position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including experience, qualifications, services provided, geographic location, relevant skills, and other factors permitted under federal, state, and local laws.
