Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to auction participants.
  • Evaluate and/or price merchandise and apparel based on type, condition, and auction value.
  • Label individual auction items and palletized goods.
  • Assist customers with loading their purchases.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Support POS transactions as necessary.
  • Perform additional supportive tasks as assigned.

COMPENSATION:
  • Hourly pay: Competitive rate based on experience.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. Shifts may vary from Monday to Wednesday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with a set schedule on Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and other material handling equipment; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with various retail merchandise types and their values.
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting during shifts.
  • Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments.
  • Fast-paced work atmosphere with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling at checkout stations.
  • Potential use of merchandise handling equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
