About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Hope Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing communication assessments and developmental activities to infants and toddlers with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide home and/or clinic-based speech therapy to infants and families, maintaining an assigned caseload.
  • Evaluate and treat speech and language developmental domains, identifying neurological sequelae and developing treatment plans.
  • Perform comprehensive speech pathology assessments, identifying oral motor pathology and language disorders, and providing therapy treatment as indicated.
  • Provide updated developmental information at scheduled IEPs and IFSPs, establishing appropriate goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with physicians and outside agencies regarding developmental and health-related issues.
  • Act as a consultant to other agency professionals, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and developmental specialists.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, plus License as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • 1+ year of related experience working with children or people with disabilities.
  • Basic computer skills in word processing.
  • Ability to observe, evaluate, document, and communicate verbally and in writing.
