Position Summary:

This position is integral to the expanding Arm Infrastructure Line of Business, focusing on the deployment of Arm Neoverse cores across Cloud, Edge, 5G, and Networking sectors.

To facilitate effective adoption, it is essential to comprehend how cloud clients implement applications on diverse computing instances and ascertain the necessary workloads and software for the development community to operate their applications on Arm platforms. The Cloud Solutions Architect will outline requirements and strategies to foster growth and success for Arm in pivotal cloud and data-center applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design cloud solutions that integrate Arm's products, technologies, software, and ecosystem, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, performance engineers, and researchers, to synchronize cloud deployment strategies with system design objectives.
  • Engage with end clients such as Hyperscalers, OEMs, and data-center system and software firms to grasp cloud use-cases, requirements, and opportunities for Arm.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in the data-center domain, conduct competitive analyses, and discover innovative solutions to position Arm for success. Assist Product Managers in defining cloud and data-center requirements for software and next-generation hardware.
  • Advocate for Arm server solutions with partners and the broader industry, showcasing both visionary maturity and technical leadership. Represent Arm's interests at significant industry forums and technology working groups to promote widespread adoption of Arm solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (other relevant degrees will be considered based on experience).
  • Over 10 years of experience as a systems/solutions architect with expertise in Cloud workloads and applications.
  • Industry insight into various applications for Cloud/Edge server platforms, Cloud-native development, CI/CD tools, virtualization, data analytics, and web microservices.
  • Experience in assisting clients with application deployment in the cloud across various use-cases, including E-commerce, Social Media, Content Streaming, Databases, and Business Productivity.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build technical consensus across multiple teams and clarify complex problems.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with key components of cloud applications – databases, web servers, runtime frameworks, and essential libraries for compression, encryption, video, and networking.
  • Understanding of systems and software architecture and their influence on hardware designs and vice versa. Knowledge of the Arm ecosystem of software and hardware partners.
  • Ability to produce consistent, complete, and concise written specifications.
  • Experience in driving industry standards and presenting at various technical forums and events.

Compensation Range:

From: $230,265

To: $311,535
