Key Responsibilities- Manage front desk duties to assist the public with their needs and complaints.
- Receive, enter, and update civil process documents into the agency's report management system.
- Maintain all civil executions received from the judiciary.
- Schedule and conduct civil auctions with the public to satisfy judgments awarded to plaintiffs.
- Serve as a liaison between the public and law enforcement regarding the status of civil papers issued.
- Complete administrative tasks such as creating files, copying, scanning, emailing, and memo writing.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, faxes, and voicemails in a professional manner, providing accurate information within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
- Fingerprint members of the public for employment, background checks, concealed permits, and expungements.
- Enter traffic stop data, citations, and arrest reports into records systems.
- Working knowledge of current state and local government statutes pertaining to civil process.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong data entry skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
The Record Assistant will perform sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is safe and free from hazards.
