About the Role

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead with Heart: Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues, creating a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Pharmacy Operations: Oversee the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy, ensuring seamless execution of daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Quality Assurance: Foster a culture of quality and excellence, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Personnel Management: Lead and develop your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, promoting growth, development, and a positive work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of pharmacy inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.
  • Financial Profitability: Contribute to the financial success of the pharmacy, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Loss Prevention: Implement strategies to prevent loss and minimize waste, ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Workflow Management: Streamline pharmacy operations, optimizing workflows and processes to enhance productivity and patient satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed.
  • Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
  • Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
  • No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree.
