Job Summary:
You will be responsible for facilitating safe crossings for students, parents, and school staff at designated locations. This includes safely guiding pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks, monitoring traffic flow, and communicating effectively with students, parents, and drivers to promote safety.
Duties:
- Safely guide pedestrians across designated intersections or crosswalks
- Monitor traffic flow and stop vehicles as needed to ensure safe crossings
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and drivers to promote safety
- Maintain compliance with all safety practices
- This position often requires short response times to the job site.
Compensation:
School Crossing Guards earn $17.75 per hour plus bonus time for each shift worked. Shifts available before and after school. If both shifts are worked, you will work 2.50 hours per day and earn $62.00 per day.
