**Responsibilities**
- Design, modify, and repair complex tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to exacting tolerances.
- Develop efficient strategies for fabricating die components using advanced machining methodologies.
- Maintain strict quality and efficiency standards to ensure proper qualification of stamped products.
- Meet all quality and efficiency expectations.
- Demonstrate expertise in shop mathematics, geometric, and trigonometric formulas.
- Work from detailed drawings and sketches.
- Operate a range of precision measuring instruments.
- Apply thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, mechanics, and material properties.
**Requirements**
- High school diploma required.
- Completion of an approved Tool and Die Maker state apprenticeship program.
