Job Summary
Waterway Carwash is seeking a skilled Field Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate all necessary and ongoing maintenance of our car wash systems and technology. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security compliance, facility appearance, and project management cost control at our locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and repair car wash equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Manage the loading, unloading, and placement of car wash chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
  • Monitor and control costs related to utilities, chemical use, parts use, and building and grounds maintenance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to non-direct report maintenance employees and store management.
  • Assist store management in workplace safety, chemical application, parts and supply inventory, equipment preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain building and grounds for facilities, including landscaping maintenance.

Requirements
  • Degree in a technical field or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance-related field.
  • Electrical experience, including motor control and three-phase power systems, is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible 5-day a week schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Work Environment
This role requires working outdoors year-round, with exposure to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather, humidity, wet surfaces, noise, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, high-pressure hydraulic lines, chemical solutions, and dirt. The successful candidate must be able to fluently speak and understand English for business-related purposes.
