We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team in the Emergency Department at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a Paramedic, you will provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. This is a full-time position working 1p-1a shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Administer direct patient care to patients of all ages, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide clinical duties in accordance with the National Patient Safety Goals.
- Participate in the care of patients' physical and emotional needs, communicating findings to appropriate healthcare providers.
- Administer and document medication according to established policy and procedure.
- Report vital signs and patient updated documentation as appropriate on all assigned patients.
- Document interventions and complete delegated tasks as per physician order under the direction of the RN.
- Active State of Georgia Paramedic license.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in patient care setting as a trained paramedic.
