Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient symptoms via telephone and provide medical guidance
  • Respond to patient communications, including handling incoming calls
  • Offer medical advice, instructions, and recommendations with excellent customer service
  • Accurately record all patient interactions in the EMR system
  • Perform essential functions in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating in the clinical triage areas
  • Triage Specialists will assist physicians by assessing patient issues and concerns over the phone, scheduling appointments for patients who need to be seen due to concerns
  • Obtain and record accurate patient information, make appropriate clinical assessment
  • Provide telephone triage and advice to callers to assist them in making timely medical decisions
  • Use clinical judgment to evaluate the urgency of the patient's condition and prioritize care based on the severity of their symptoms
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
