We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee our system-wide peer support program, ensuring the health and well-being of our clinical workforce. This critical role involves managing a team of volunteer peer supporters, organizing training in evidence-based support methods, and overseeing data collection and management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement peer support policies and procedures across the health system.
- Collaborate with departments such as Cares Program, Spiritual Health, Behavioral Health, and Spring Health to ensure proper support and triage processes.
- Design educational programs and deliver asynchronous training through recorded workshops.
- Travel to hospitals and outpatient clinics to provide training and educational support.
- Collect, analyze, and present data on the peer support program's utilization and impact to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing (RN license required).
- Certification or willingness to become trained in PFA, SFA, and other evidence-based support programs.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- At least 3 years of experience in health education.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills to support both those seeking and providing peer support.
