Job Title: Medical Scribe

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Medical Scribe to join our team at GoHealth Urgent Care in Riverhead, NY. As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient information and assisting with clinical care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe medical charting for Providers
  • Assist in fundamental clinical care, including Point of Care (POC) testing, intake of vitals, and other procedures
  • Assist in coordinating patient triage and overall workflow
  • Maintain medical records, lab results, and imaging reports in accurate manner in EHR
  • Manage faxing and referral process
Requirements:
  • Previous use of EMR
  • Medical Terminology
  • Type 60+ words per minute
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMT or Med School Students
