About the Role

As a Multi Modality Technologist at CHI St. Vincent, you will play a vital role in capturing high-quality diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and treat patients.

Every day, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of imaging examinations, including x-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Obtain pertinent medical history from patients through observation or oral communication.
  2. Utilize patient clinical assessment and history to inform professional judgment and document patient assessment and clinical history.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, peers, and others to complete the hospital/physician plan of patient care.
  4. Provide appropriate patient care during radiologic procedures.
  5. Assist Radiologists within the technologist scope of practice as directed by the physician.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology, Military Program, or ultrasound program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Registered in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • License in the State of Arkansas.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • 2 years of experience required.
