About the Role

This position involves delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs, creating and implementing effective strategies and accommodations. As a Virtual Education Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and teaching customized lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each student.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality virtual instruction to students with special needs
  • Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and provide ongoing support
  • Develop and teach customized lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of each student
  • Collaborate with parents and fellow educators to ensure seamless communication and progress tracking
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred
  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education
  • Proven experience in delivering virtual instruction to students with special needs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
