Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Providence St. Joseph Health, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality radiographic images for the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. This position requires a strong understanding of radiological technical procedures and the ability to interact with patients in a caring and comforting manner.
Responsibilities include performing radiological technical procedures, producing high-quality radiographic images, and interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner. You will also be responsible for performing quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
This role requires a successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Upon hire, you will be required to obtain a Washington Radiologic Technologist license and a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
