Dental Care Specialist

The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role at Apex Dental, working closely with the general dentist as part of the healthcare team to promote better oral health for patients. Key Responsibilities- Compliance and Adherence: Maintain adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Oral Healthcare Assessments: Conduct thorough oral healthcare assessments to identify risks and develop effective prevention strategies.
- Preventative and Therapeutic Procedures: Perform preventative and therapeutic procedures to maintain patients' optimal oral health.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and empower them to take control of their oral health.
- Collaboration and Communication: Assist other dental professionals in communicating patient care plans and ensure seamless coordination.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to support ongoing care and quality improvement.
- Professional Interactions: Engage with patients in a positive, professional manner to build trust and foster strong relationships.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related job duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the practice.
- Dental Hygiene License: Possess a current Dental Hygiene License in South Carolina.
- Local Anesthesia Permit: Hold a valid Local Anesthesia Permit.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrate a positive attitude, energetic personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.
- Passion for Dental Hygiene: Be passionate about delivering exceptional dental hygiene services and committed to ongoing education.
- Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on experience.
