Per-Diem Surgical Technologist Opportunity

Stoughton Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Operating Room team on a Per-Diem basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the professional nurse or physician in providing patient care during surgical procedures.
  • Prepare the Operating Room for patients and maintain a clean and sterile environment.
  • Pass instruments and other sterile supplies to the surgical team.
  • Conduct routine inspections of sterile supplies and understand the sterilization process.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Basic Computer Skills, including access to electronic health records and online learning tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Skills, including basic document editing and writing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary coursework in Central Service skills.
  • One-year experience as a Surgical Technologist.
